It's not the dumbest lawsuit out there, but it's got to be in the top ten or twenty.
If the buyer is ignorant of this, should they even be building something anyway?

Since this is a family Forum, I find that I must restrain myself from making a comment that I want so badly to make.........

This thread is going to go down hill very quickly, so with that in mind I'm going to give it a strong push.
I started to Google "stupid questions asked Americans" and Google suggested "stupid questions asked american tourists".
The "by" is understood in those searches.
The resulting list of pages is SO long I would spend the rest of the day LMAO reading them.
I'm reminded of the story of the problems residents of New Mexico had trying to get tickets for venues at the Atlanta Olympics when Olympics officials told them they had to go through their country's consulate.
Here's one list of American tourist's questions from http://www.roadandtravel.com/roadhumor/ ... stions.htm

I apologize in advance for this but my answer to the second one would be: "Actually, they pretty much mate year 'round."Does the sun set every night?

How long is a one-day pass good for?
What time does the 9 o'clock ferry leave?
How many miles of undiscovered cave are there?

How come all of the war battles were fought in National Parks?
Why don't you have better marking in the places where trails do not exist?
Is that the same moon we see in Vermont?
Why don't you have more signs saying to keep the area pristine?
How much does it cost to mail a letter to the U.S.? (from an American tourist in Hawaii)

Re: Lumber companies sued over labeling of wood size
Alan, your post reminded me of the time when a good friend of mine had just retired from the post office and she was excited about going to Europe for the first time. She was going on about all the countries she was going to tour but she was especially excited about going to Venice, she exclaimed"the first thing I'm going to do is ride a gondolier"!
After I wiped the tears from my eyes from laughing I explained the difference between gondolier and gondola.
