Greatest Troll Ever!

Post by BobK »

Not only did they take make Chicago look silly but the proceeds went to a great cause.

ETA: If you are wondering about taking the time to follow the link, the basic story is an Illinois gun organization collected a bunch of old, rusty, inoperable guns -- most of which were stripped of any parts of value -- and drove them up to Chicago for a gun buyback program at $100 per piece of crap. They raised over $6,000 to be used for a children shooting camp.

"It's for the children."

Hah! Well done!

Wonder if they will do one of these in Cleveland any time soon - there're a few pawn shops in the area where I have seen some old Bryco/Jennings/Jiminez, Rohm, etc pot-metal POS's for around 50 bucks...few hundred invested could net enough for a Colt I've had my eye on

Yeah, but you need to make a YouTube video of the whole thing, from buying the "junk" guns, to turning them in, to buying the Colt.

If you're going to stick your finger in somebody's eye, why not sharpen your fingernail first?

FWIW, the highroad is a great forum. You can pretty much be honest and say all the crazy, radical stuff you want...and you'll almost always find a bunch of like-minded folks who agree with you.
