The his and her turbos after getting washed and waxed today. With 2 little ones, the fun cars (WRX, VR4, GLI) are long gone but these are still entertaining in their own way. And the S60R is a little bit of a sleeper with 300HP and AWD. The orange leather takes a bit of getting used to, but it goes well with the obnoxious Flash Green.

Re: What do you drive?
Main ride: Gary Fisher Tassejara. $20 at a garage sale. Added Judy rockshox, and new tires. Rewired control cables, and I've ridden it since Feb 2011 when, due to finances, I parked my
1997 Civic HX w/ 170K miles. I get 35 mpg in it, @ 90 - 95 mph on I-15 to Vegas. (Driving through the Virgin River Gorge at 90 - 95 mph is a THRILL!
Dad gets 55 MPG in it
Brother wants to hypermile it so badly. He would get 50 - 55 MPG hypermiling a 1992 Geo Metro in the city and on the freeway. He had so many gadgets on it. Cardboarded the front bumper, added vacuum sensor, installed a hydrogen plant (Stainless steel electrical wall plates submerged in a water tank with an electrical charge, route hydrogen into intake manifold) Swore it got him another 2 - 3 mpg.
He also toyed with a Tercel, but it was stolen and totaled.
Same brother has: Some early 2000's ford truck. 1964 Ford Galaxie completely restored as his auto body degree project car. And when I say restored, he tigwelded the body metal in, no bondo! Did the interior himself, pics available @ http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b103/ ... 1QQtppZZ16
He sold it a month ago.
Had a 1968 Pontiac Catalina he wrapped around a concrete base for a light pole doing doughnuts in the snow in a parking lot.
Had a 1961 Apache truck but sold it before he could get around to restoring it.
Someday I'll have him restore a 1956 VW Beetle for me.

I'm in that stage of life right now where my car continually gets slower - but more voluminous.
And before you ask, no, I can't afford to make the voluminous vehicle fast.
