Extremely pro-gun business

Post by Daniel »

Found this posted on packing.org this morning. If you are ever in Pasco county Florida and can find these guys, buy them a beer!

My brother owns a small store in Pasco county and we are going to open another. These are small convenience stores that sell mostly smokes, cokes, and gas. We refuse to put up no guns stickers. In fact we welcome law abiding permit holders to carry their guns in the stores.

In the current store we never have had a problem with customers or law enforcement and concealed or openly carried weapons. We have also never been robbed. We let the public use our restrooms have extra hooks on the door for guns or gun belts and the bathroom locks so no one can swoop in and steal your gun or wallet or hat or anything else you hang on the hooks.

We try to be nice to our customers, and we openly carry in the store which seems to add some truth to the cliche that an armed society is a polite society. The highway patrol, our local sheriff and a very nearby police department officers all drop in as we are open 24 hours. We allow (but do not require) our staff to carry firearms at work. No customers has ever mentioned it, except a few out of state police officers who thought it was fantastic. We do require that all employees who want to carry a firearm pass the NRA short course or have a Florida permit. Our insurance company charges us about $800 extra per year for liabliliy insurance but that seems a small price to pay for peace of mind.

That said are there any CCW allowed, or even CCW welcome signs available. Sure I could have some made, but why pay for the set up charge if someone prints them already. Anyone have any sources?

We must carry arms because we value our lives and those of our loved ones, because we will not be dealt with by force or threat of force, and do not live at the pleasure and discretion of the lawless. - Jeff Snyder
