Clothing for summertime

Post by Vikefantam »

Yeah, I know it's a long way off, darnit. I really do hate winter. I hate snow, sleet, freezing rain, ice, cold wind, and just plain cold.

However, I'm wondering what kind of clothing I'll need to conceal carry this summer. What do you gals usually wear in the summer when carrying? Do untucked T-shirts usually work? I have a Glock 27, and though I prefer not to, can use an inside waist holster.

Thoughts and experiences, anyone?

Thanks! :D

Same during winter, just sans the coat, and sometimes shorts instead of jeans :)

I'll usually wear an untucked tshirt or a plaid button down with the bottom button undone (untucked).

I carry a compact 1911 in a Galco paddle holster. I usually wear a t-shirt (sometimes sleeveless) tucked in with a button down short sleeve over shirt left unbuttoned and untucked. This combination covers nicely and can be worn with jeans or shorts.

:oops: Sorry. I added it. We're originally from Mahoning county and quite familiar with that area but live in Columbiana county now.

I'll try to get as much info in as I can. Thanks for the head's up. :D

Guy, you do know this in the "Women's Issues" forum, right?

Maybe we ought to let the women deal with a question about how to dress-to-conceal (from a female perspective) in this weather - unless, of course, some of you are also qualified in that area. ;)

{Please - if you are, no pictures! No pictures!}
