Thanks for posting that story. I am glad to see that more women are taking control of their lives. When I was in college (1980's) there were all these "take back the night" candlelight marches going on whenever a woman got raped on or near the campus. It was so silly! What possible good is accomplished by a bunch of feminists carrying candles around and chanting? Yeah, that must strike fear into the hearts of rapists.

A handgun is a great equalizer for a woman who is dealing with a predator.

It saddens me to read about young college women being abducted and murdered. There have been too many of these cases in the past year. If the women had carried weapons, it might turn out very differently.

But, I know...I'm preaching to the choir.
