First notify OHio state trooper A++

Post by P.T.145 Pro »

My work partner got pulled over in the commercial truck outside of Wilmington today
71 in 55 and following to close.
Trooper approached driver before he could say anything I leaned across the truck and notified him
I have a chl and I am armed he asked where it is
I told him glove box. He said ok then went back to dealing with the driver
Then asked for the reg. and insurance witch are in glove box
So I asked him very clearly that the firearm is in there is it ok to retrieve paperwork
He said yes and as long as I don't grab it and start waving it around we would be just fine
After writing the driver up for following to close and a warning for the speed
He thanked me for having a chl and carrying

I have a friend that is a Trooper and we were talking about CCW. He says that when he pulls over a vehicle and the driver has his CCW and he asks if he is armed and he says no, he will ask them why they are not carrying. He tells them that a permit holder should exercise his 2nd amendment right!

Waving it round is 'playing stupid games'.
Kudos to any LE that mentions a citizens 2nd amendment.

I fired a commercial driver last week for a ticket that was more than 15 mph over the limit.

71 in a 55 and following too close is dangerous driving.

Yea I felt the same way bob . Not 1/2 mile before we passed the trooper
I informed him off the speed limit and asked him if he was drafting?
he ignored me and now he just about worked for free today.
All in all great encounter for me anyway and was very happy
He thanked me

He is lucky he didn't kill or injure someone. I deal with that daily, and believe me, that has the potential to have major harm in his life.

Good Grief. Is there any way to get this trooper promoted immediately? :!:
