Charged by vicious dog tonight

Last time I had to draw on a charging dog was in my back yard and I'm convinced the dog was charging my daughter. On the plus side the incident reinforced my confidence in being able to draw and fire one handed quickly under pressure. On the negative side I like dogs and always hate having to shoot one.
