You will even have a spare intake manifold. :)

Yeah....and that's fairly new too. I upgraded to the 2001+ Performance Improved intake manifold on that car (which was a pain since it wasn't a direct fit).
Good luck and stand fast, true Patriots.

My plastic manifold separated at the thermostat housing, instantly dumping almost all the coolant. Fortunately I was on my way back from, rather than to, the airport. The replacement one had an aluminum crossover and thermostat housing.

Yeah you'll want to buy that back. It'd probably be worth it just for the tires.

Good news, everybody!

My insurance offered me quite a bit more than expected. $5800 with my aftermarket wheels (which netted only $300 more, however). I think I may just take it and run. The new car is $5k and the tires on it are one month older than what I had....however they are crappy Cooper all season tires with poor reviews. We'll see how they handle in the snow, I have some winter tires picked out at TireRack if these don't fare well.

Glad you are alright! I used to have a 2002 Lincoln Town Car Signature several years ago. Always felt so safe driving her.

I've had the last 3 weeks off work and spent it at home in Cleveland, with a garage - although unheated.

I got my "new to me" 2006 Grand Marquis as close to what I had as I can by myself - new performance brakes, shocks, sway bars, wheels, tires, new headlights and taillights, a tranmission modification, a police interceptor aluminum driveshaft w/ new u-joints, port & polish the intake plenum, and changed all fluids.

I just have to schedule an appointment to install some shiny new 3.55 gears with a Traction-Lok limited slip differential, and find undamaged dual exhaust parts off of a police interceptor - then it'll be back to driving a land yacht like a Mustang.

What a busy and messy 3 weeks. Ugh, this was a disaster to my wallet :(
Good luck and stand fast, true Patriots.

I didn't say much of anything to the rocket kid lol. He seemed half baked to me and his dad was a d&#k on the phone to his son AND the cop so I didn't want to deal with it.
