Did my renewal yesterday. In and out in less than 10 minutes for the application, then two hours later got a text saying everything was done and my new license is ready! Fastest turnaround time that I've heard of. Pretty impressed at that!

To bad they don't/wont mail it back to you.

Holmes co. will mail it back if they are to busy to do it on the spot.

My sister finally took a class and called Stark co and the deputy she spoke with "was rude", (her words).

She was calling ahead to find out what they require.

She is now going to Holmes like I do

Same here. Walked in for new permit at 0950, out by 1002, texted that it was ready at 1406. Ohio BMV needs to learn this...

My renewal in Warren county was great. Called them up and scheduled the appointment. The lady took a little info over the phone. I walked in on time and had a seat. The officer showed up a minute later and did a little paper work. Walked out ten minutes later with license in hand. It blew me away.

Warren is getting better and better. You can make appointments online now at the Sheriff's website. I recently made mine for my renewal this coming March.
