IHOP employee shoots back after employees shot

Post by M-Quigley »

Although it's sad that one innocent person died and another wounded before the attacker was stopped if the employee hadn't had a gun and shot back, the toll could've been much worse.

The 56-year-old Roy Brown, Sr. was fatally shot and a second employee was wounded by gunfire.
Okay. Got it.
The second employee, who cops said was Brown’s son, “pulled a handgun and shot the customer-shooter in self-defense,” cops said.
Yes. Yes. All right.
Police did not release the son’s name and said he was recovering in a hospital.
Huh. Well, that IS a puzzler.

(Sure, Sr. may have had multiple sons, but this is funnier when I imagine Jr. being an only child.)
