Despite Anti-Gun Status, Baltimore Has Highest Homicide Rate In U.S.
Baltimore had the worst homicide rate among the nation’s 50 largest cities last year and the second-highest violent crime rate overall, according to new data from the FBI.

The grim news was the latest reminder of the sustained cycle of violence that has gripped the city since 2015, when the annual number of homicides soared above 300 for three consecutive years after the unrest that followed Freddie Gray’s death from injuries suffered in police custody.

Didn't the police say they weren't going to go into "bad" neighborhoods to patrol them because they'd be accused of profiling and extra accusations?

Per capita rates based on 2017 data. Not sure how they rank as that wasn't included in the brief article.
What kind of voodoo is NY using for their stats..

This murder from March, right next to where I work is still unsolved. The guys mother came by a couple weeks ago looking for information and security video footage because the police have made zero progress. the guy in the pickup was either a veteran or a serviceman home on leave https://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.s ... _into.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

MOAR from the Baltimore Tourism Council:
As the following Axios report details, in Baltimore, doctors at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital say babies born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome - a set of conditions caused by withdrawal from exposure to drugs - now account for 25% of the hospital’s admissions.

IIRC, they scaled back patrols in certain "communities" at the specific demand...........uh, I mean request..........of BLM and other similar "civic" groups. The Baltimore mayor was all too happy to cave in once again and give the folkses "time to destroy", as they said during the riots.

As The Rev. Wright said, "the chickens have come home to roost !!!".
