Kent State Roadblocks 2A Rally

Post by gilly32 »

KENT, Ohio -- "Kent State gun girl" Kaitlin Bennett has switched her controversial open carry rally to a walk after the university banned guns at the event and charged thousands of dollars in security costs.

Do they charge every group $14,000 for "security"?
"The right to keep and bear arms is rooted in both self-defense and insurance against government’s propensity toward tyranny. The right pre-existed the Constitution. Thus, the Second Amendment is not its source. The right to keep and bear arms is natural and inalienable; the Second Amendment protects it, and Congress has no legitimate power to restrict it." - Senator John Cornyn (R., Tex.), as reported in the National Review on July 4, 2016

Saw Kaitlin at the FNRA Banquet last Saturday in Hartville..

No the causes on the other side of the isle, never seem to get charged extra for security, and they are also the ones that are typically violent or inciting violence.
