Los Angeles set to deploy tech to scan subway passengers

Post by High Power »

From the article:
Signs will be posted at stations warning passengers they are subject to body scanner screening. The screening process is voluntary, Wiggins said, but customers who choose not to be screened won't be able to ride on the subway.
So.... the process isn't really voluntary.

And the (subway) Conductor yelled the notice all were waiting for, 'Allll aboard! L A to London in .02 seconds!''

London mayor probably thinking, ''why didnt I think  of that'' In reference to, more burdens upon the good people -instead of the criminals

Maybe perhaps, these scanners could be pointed at the many many square blocks of gang controlled areas...of 8) L A
Acquisitions thus far:

-Slingshot
-Butter knife
-Soda straw and peas
-Sharpened pencil
-Newspaper roll
--water balloon (*diversionary*)

Yeah, I'm that good

At least they aren't using the supposedly safe backscatter technology that's been proposed in the past. This Thruvision system is an entirely passive reader an emits no radiation at all. So, at least they aren't giving people cancer and birth defects while they're doing this. That's something.
