In this news story there is a photo of a street sign (don't know if it's actually in Phoenix or a stock photo from somewhere else) that says "Comply with police orders." Apparently that sign is about as useful for criminals as a "no guns" sign at a CPZ.
Reminds me of the subliminal advertising signs from the movie "They Live"
