Good that he was eventually stopped, but if I'd have been the first victim and been cut, I wouldn't just be pointing a gun at him for him to later say "Don't shoot me." Just about the time he would've seen the gun he would've seen what was coming out of it.

Three months for the previous convictions? Burglary, resisting and controlled substance? Sheesh!

Friend of mine had a bumper sticker made: "Tough judges give LONG suspended sentences". He's the same guy who got me saying "legal system" rather than "justice system".

Hang around me for a while, I do my best to get folks doing the same thing.

All I can say is that I wish I had that judge when I was practicing criminal law.
