"Bill," heard police sirens and then saw the male suspect running toward him with his hand in his waistband. He heard officers yelling at people to "get on the ground" and "gun, gun, gun!"

Bill, who has a cane, took a few steps back and then stuck his leg out behind him, tripping the 18-year-old suspect.
Police caught the teen suspect and recovered a loaded Glock 9mm handgun with a high-capacity extended clip.
