Someone remind me again how raising the age limit to buy a rifle will keep guns out of the hands of teenagers who want to commit crimes with one, when the age limit is already 21 for handguns?

You missed the best part!
She told police it's the second time the boy has stolen a car from her.

It does have to be difficult for the State-ist: Knowing that criminals don't care about the laws and knowing that they can't take hundreds of millions of firearms out of existence. Knowing that all the might and force of the State can't manifest its power in the world. Recognizing its own impotence, the futility of their cause--fueling the pride and cognitive dissonance that drives their insanity.

Oh, and he was on a missing child website. Some do-goodnik someplace was no doubt wasting time trying to get him off the streets and back to whatever wholesome environment spawned him.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

I didn't miss it, it just didn't surprise me. Back in the day, I dealt with a lot of criminals who were repeat criminals, sometimes trying to hit the same spots they had previously robbed. Sometimes they were out on bail or received probation for a previous crime and got arrested for doing it again. Back then the joke was the jail should've had a revolving door on the outside.
