Officer who killed Justine Damond charged with murder

Post by drc »

I realize the original thread is buried somewhere back in the historical posts. This just showed up today.

The Minneapolis police officer who fatally shot an Australian woman in July was charged with murder Tuesday after he turned himself in when a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The criminal complaint remained sealed by midday Tuesday, but according to the jail roster Noor was booked on a third-degree murder charge for perpetrating an eminently dangerous act while showing a "depraved mind." The second-degree manslaughter charge alleges he acted with "culpable negligence creating unreasonable risk."

I think you're talking about one of these links.

Now to see what sentence is imposed .
A wayfarer should not walk unarmed,
But have his weapons to hand:
He knows not when he may need a spear,
Or what menace meet on the road.

I'm betting one similar to that imposed on the murderer of Kate Steinle...

Like the victims of the Pulse Nightclub massacre, she's far below the perpetrator on the victim pyramid.

Have no doubt that there will be those who not only defend the killing, but justify it.

Look at the Ohio State employee who mourned the car and knife jihadi.

Only in this case, the police union will join in.

"Charged with murder" is a l-o-n-g way from "convicted of murder", a month of Sundays from "sentenced for murder conviction" and even further from both those things after the appeals process.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

But at least it is a start in the right direction. Hopefully the motion will continue.

If you haven't already read "Muslim Mafia" by David Gaubatz, pick it up. You'll see what a threat to our country CAIR is.

The skeletons in this guy's closet have met the light of day.

We will see how big a payout he costs the city.
The former Minneapolis police officer charged in the shooting death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond once put a gun to a driver’s head during a traffic stop and sometimes ignored calls, according to court filings indicating that psychiatrists and training officers voiced concerns about his fitness for duty.

Would be nice if they went after some of his supervisors and higher-ups as well for turning a blind eye to the behavior and the concerns.

Maybe there's a "blue wall of silence" in Minneapolis too...
