Police say fatal road rage shooting was self defense

The other driver called 911 to report that he shot Everette after Everette got out of his car and fired at him. The two drivers had previously been fighting verbally while stopped at a red light.
A witness told Channel 2 Action News she saw the exchange, but did not want to be identified.
Police said the incident was a case of road rage and charges won’t be filed against the driver who killed Everette.
