"Outrage" over gun ad in Plain Dealer....

Plain Dealer faces criticism for front page gun ad -

The Cleveland Plain Dealer is facing criticism after prominently featuring an advertisement for a gun sale on the front page of today's newspaper.

...

Many felt the ad was poorly timed and insensitive, especially just days after the deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas. Others, however, saw nothing wrong with it.
Looking upon the epidemic of obesity in this country and being obese myself, I am outraged that the PD would take advertisements from not only fast food restaurants, but also grocery stores.

How insensitive.

"Front page"? Looks more like an overlay advertisement.

Holy crap! The paper actually defended its placement of the ad?!?!?! Called firearms a legal product and the advertiser a legitimate business?!?!?! What is this world coming to?

Samuel Adams wrote:If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
