Too Bad for the Bad Guy

Post by Cosmos »

Bad guy chose the wrong restaurant to rob. Robber ends up shot dead by three employees:

Only sad thing in the outcome is Taco Bell will likely fire all three for violating company policy.

States that two of the employees that shot at the two robbers were 19 years old.
How can that be?

Well, it is Cleveland, they probably just got out of high school and went to their job at Taco Smell. They don't want to leave their heat in their school lockers.

While the initial outcome of this story is delightful, I wouldn't suggest submitting it to First Freedom for inclusion in the Armed Citizen column anytime soon. This is a very shady place with very shady people in and around it, both as customers and employees.

This could well wind up being a drug deal gone bad or revenge for one, or perhaps even a staged robbery with one of the tied up victims in on it.

From the latest "nooose" accounts this has quickly devolved into a din seen nuttin, din do nuttin investigation.

Used to be a Wendy's down here that went that far bad before it got shut down. You gave certain orders at the drive through, you got certain drugs. The employees who weren't in on it, did or said nothing to stop it.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

Brian:
Employees told dispatchers someone fired shots, and that one of the robbers ended up on the ground.

The employees would not tell the dispatchers why the shooter ended up on the ground and said they would talk to police officers when they arrived, police dispatch records say.

Police officers arrived and found the robber unconscious on the ground with a faint pulse, dispatch reports say.
Sounds like maybe these were folks trying to legitimately protect themselves, working in a dangerous situation (late night fast food)? Something we always discuss...."There's been a shooting. I need police and EMS at 1234 Main Street."

Investigators searched the parking lot and found a loaded gun tucked in the backseat of one of the employees' cars, according to police reports. Police have not said who that gun belongs to or if it was used in the shooting.

A) Isn't this the utopian scene that Dems have created after having generations of power in the great north east? How can it be a den of crime such that teenagers are compelled to arm themselves against deadly threats? (Which is not to commend the GOP in any way, simply to show the moral and intellectual bankrupcy of the Democratic Party, with all their compassion, tolerance, lowered expectations, etc...)

B) Shouldn't we uphold the concept that 17 year olds are capable of wisely deploying tools that can save lives? Shouldn't we be EXPECTING 17 year olds to be this wise? Was not the RKBA something that many have lost their lives to protect? Shouldn't we genuinely cue up Lee Greenwood? Who among us wouldn't be proud of our sons/nephews for such actions?
