It's a special version for LEO sales only, for LEO's who can't qualify with the carry guns, like when cops qualified with .38 special target loads then carried .357 magnum rounds. :roll:

Seriously though, when I had LEO firearms training, (in a previous century) although shoot no shoot training was part of the overall training, the regular requalification (3 mths, 4 mths, 6 mths for different depts) was all about basic marksmanship, just the ability to hit the target a given number of times at various ranges. Don't know what it's like now, but in this case the deputy did successfully hit his target, and very quickly too. :roll:
