OH No chrgs for dealer in shooting, Robbers accomplice chrgd

Huh.. So the drug dealer was justified in shooting the guy that tried to steal his drugs.

An accused drug dealer who told police he shot and killed a man trying to steal a bag of marijuana from him during a botched drug deal in Pepper Pike will not face charges in the man's death.

Matthew Stecher, who had been charged with voluntary manslaughter in Shaker Heights Municipal Court, now faces only a fourth-degree felony drug trafficking charge in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court in the botched May 22 drug dealing that resulted in the slaying of Isaiah Lampkins.

Lampkins' accused accomplices, Kevin Mahone and Da'Jon Carouthers, are each charged with felony murder because they participated in an aggravated robbery that led to Lampkins' death, court records say.

Did the drug dealer possess his firearm legally ?
Did he have a license to carry concealed ?
If not why no charges listed ?
So many other questions...

Aren't there exceptions in the statute for self-defense that it does not apply if you are committing a crime...ie a burglar can't shoot a homeowner pointing a gun at him and claim self-defense? He was still charged with felony drug trafficking.
God,
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
and the Wisdom to know the difference.

Carrying a gun is a right, not a crime.

Gun control is racist.
