Incident changes anti-gunners views

Post by Bruenor »

It's really a shame that it takes a scary incident, for some people to see the reality of firearms.

"I was always anti-gun. ... I wasn't really scared of them, I just decided I wanted to be anti-gun, and what a difference 24 hours makes."

Meet Lori Shelton: She's learning how to properly use a gun after a nightmare shook her family last month.
"I saw a man coming through the back of the house," she recalled. "The first thing I thought was I gotta do something."

And fast, because her husband wasn't home and her teenage daughter was asleep upstairs.
On the bright side she's doing something about it.

Living in "It will never happen to me" Township is a luxury.

Economic times are not booming, education and self-motivation levels are low, people groups are divided and entrenched against one another...it's a good idea to become confident handling a weapon, even if you're not out in public.

Hopefully this incident will enlighten others.
