How to regain universities from the left

Post by Bruenor »

So if I'm reading this right, if we can get Concealed carry into all the universities, we may loose more far left profs.

In light of the state of Kansas’ apparent determination to allow the concealed carry of firearms in the classrooms of the University of Kansas, I am writing to tender my resignation effective two weeks from today as an associate professor of history and American studies at the university. I have accepted a job in a state that bans concealed carry in classrooms.
In practical terms, concealed carry has proven to be a failure. Campus shootings have become all too frequent, and arming students has done nothing to quell active shooter situations because students do not have the training to effectively combat shooters and rightly fear becoming identified as suspects themselves.
Which Campus shooting did I miss where they allowed Concealed Carry ?

The lefties hate knowing that the students are more mature and responsible than the staff.

It's too bad the prof is supposedly a history professor and yet failed to learn from it.

This makes CC on campus an urgent issue for Ohio. The last thing we need is more lefty loon prof's migrating to Ohio and mucking up our universities any more than they already are.

Facism squirms (bravely runs away) in the face of an armed populace.

History professors are a dime a dozen. KU and Kansas will get along just fine without this guy. If his logic, thought and grasp of historical events are represented by this letter that is especially true. The rise of campus shootings began as firearms were banned on college campuses in the mid-1990s. In the 20 years prior to that (1977-1995), there were 2 mass shootings on college campuses in the US leaving 13 dead. The subsequent 20 years (1995-2014) there were 15 mass shootings with 92 dead. One of the reasons campus carry is being implemented is to allow students their God-given and Constitutional right to defend themselves if necessary.
God,
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
and the Wisdom to know the difference.

Carrying a gun is a right, not a crime.

Gun control is racist.
