Dayton mother shoots 2 children

Two children were shot in the head just before 10 a.m. Thursday on Lori Sue Avenue in Dayton.
- Dayton police have booked the mother on two counts felonious assault
- The children, 6 and 8, are in critical condition
- A third child unharmed inside the home

The mother shot the two younger children and dragged them out of the house. The children are in critical condition at Dayton Children’s Hospital. The mother apparently has had previous child endangering charges.
