Saw this about an elderly man in Houston, Texas defending himself. No doubt this will receive minimal press coverage (I'm surprised to have heard about it on the news up here)... good guys with guns don't sell papers... even if it is an elderly guy acting in self defense against 2 thugs.

Doesn't say if the bad guys were armed.
Still with two robbers and one older man with the $$ I would say having a true fear for his life or a nasty beating is a reasonable assumption.

No disagreement, but I do find myself a bit irritated every time I see myself lumped in with the elderly. :(

Well, elderly does fit some of us unfortunately. My fist fighting days are pretty much over, I have bad knees so I can't run, muscle loss has begun, soo I now carry.
