One-time reality TV star and founder of Red Jacket Firearms Will Hayden was given an additional life sentence last week in connection with a rape conviction.
WAFB reports that Hayden entered a plea of no contest Wednesday to rape charges in Livingston Parish and received his third life sentence, as well as 10 years for aggravated incest.
This comes on top of two other life sentences plus 40 years he was given on two counts of aggravated rape and one count of forcible rape in East Baton Rouge Parish in May.

Sounds like he may croak in the gray bar hotel.
I don't know why but I kind of expect the next update to involve a croaking in the slammer. I figure with these long sentences and how these predators are received on the inside someone should make sure Mr. Hayden doesn't get ahold of a rope or belt or shoelaces etc. But it would save some tax money if he did. Just sayin.
In some ways this type of crime is worse than murder. The victims are stained in many ways. The mental and emotional scars will hurt many victims until the day they day. Often the victims choose to die rather than live with it.

I'm all for a set number of appeals (2-3?), even up to Governors and State Supreme Courts (assuming non-federal charges)...this allows time for new evidence to be discovered/presented. Then, after a few years and a few appeals...game over.
