In the 1990's America ignored a declaration of war by Al Qaeda on the US. Even then, only one side was playing. We all know how that turned out.

Perhaps a better question is why do the victims never have a racial identity according to the media? Does it matter? It matters when poor innocent Trayvon Martin is "racially profiled" by a "white hispanic". But when a pack of 15 thugs attack people at "random", we are to assume race has nothing to do with it because that's what we are told. Move along. Nothing to see here. I guess I should just go along and pretend it's not really happening in the interest of racial harmony. That is what is expected of us.
