Kinda reminds me of that nut that I think lived in Clermont County and shot a kid for stepping on his property a few years back.

I am not a lawyer. My answers are based on research, knowledge, and are generally backed up with facts, the Ohio Revised Code, or the United States Code.

There was the guy with the auto junkyard out that way who did essentially that but he was likely before your time Jedi. Sadly I believe there's been another since, elsewhere in either Clermont or maybe it was another SW Ohio county.

Having seen dementia up close now I can say its onset could easily be bad and sudden enough for someone needing to step in quickly and grab up the firearms of the person with the affliction.

But of course that may well have not been the problem with the guy in Florida.

Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

I knew him. If memory serves, he had a tank. Shot a kid for trespassing. Had done time at the OP early on for a weapons charge. Very touchy about his personal property. Likeable enough, but with a strange value system.

Roop has a concealed weapons permit ...
Wonderful. It's always good for the cause when the homicidal nutjob has a CHL.

From what I can see, the second degree murder charge is a gift.

He shot three kids. One died the others lived.

I know John Coyne. If he likes you no problem. If he doesn't.....

He's out now BTW.

here is a quote from him..
“America is going down the road toward national socialism, and I am one of the very few individuals who has ever exposed that with the cogent use of parody and satire,” he said at court Tuesday. “I have a chronic dislike of unjust authority.”

I think he likes me. I, unknowingly, did him a favor one time.

If I do that, then the community organizers will be bugging me about voting for the Pres. to continue getting free stuff. (Come to think of it, I wonder if the Obama voters are required to pay for the steaks and seafood delivered to their door. ) Damn, messed up again.
