Man shot at Gander Mountain in Huber Hts

Post by scriz »

Surprised this didn't make it on here yet:
According to officials, the victim walked into the store and purchased a gun and some ammunition. He then got into his vehicle and shot himself in the head.

At least he had the decency to do it in his own vehicle and not in the store....

Heard about it yesterday around the time it happened. From all accounts it sounds intentional, as I can't see anyone just wanting to load up in the parking lot after just buying the gun and ammo.

If he stopped at a gas station and filled up then center punched a tree or ran a hose from the exhaust to the window would it be news?

Should gunstores and ranges have a bowl on the counter with single loose rounds of ammo, like cigarettes at the bar?

Yeah, probably too early.

This is sad.. I've been sad, before too but jeez this really is wow I dont think thats the most efficent way to do it either sounds painful. Just really tragic when somone gets to that point they take themselfs out. Its unavoidable you know people are going to do it and its just sad. Firearm, bridge, pills, rope ect it happens.

Medics transported him to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

No word on his condition.

I know of 2 or 3 times this has happend at New Albany. One case a lady went in, bought a gun and ammo and ended it in the parking lot. They sure keep it quiet it seems, only made a small segment of the news.
