Post by ohiophotog »

Parkersburg Police estimate that between $8-10,000 worth of items, most of them weapons, were taken in an early morning break-in at the Veterans Museum of the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Looks like everything was recovered. Not sure if they have any suspects as this story dose not say that.

Second story with more information

Stolen items back at museum
Since the break-in, two people have been arrested in connection with the event, but no charges have been filed related to the breaking and entering and robbery.

The first arrest was on Christmas Eve when William Joseph Kerns, 24, 506 34th St., Apt. 5B, Vienna, was charged with possession of stolen property. Kerns had one firearm and two knives from the museum, police said.

The second arrest was on Dec. 30 after a number of breaking and enterings into cars led authorities to Matthew Edward Depew, 21, 1929 Seventh St., Parkersburg, who also was charged with possession of stolen property. Police said they recovered the Beretta at his residence.
Ignorant or Stupid, I'm not sure which is worse. If someone were stupid, at least they'd have an excuse for all the dumb things they say.
