Hello from springfield oh

I am looking for some advice. I wish to obtain a ccw license am wondering if I may have a problem.I am a vet that goes to VA for all my medical needs. My last exam showed that marijuana was present in my system. Will this exclude me from obtaining a license?

Welcome.I don't know the answer to your question for sure. But, your medical information is not routinely shared with law enforcement agencies.

Welcome. I don't think it would be an issue as long as you weren't arrested on a drug charge.

I'd post that one on the Concealed Carry sub forum but you could go to a sheriffs dept. and have them run a background check on you, (there will be a fee, I think), and see if anything shows up that would disqualify you from getting a carry lic. BEFORE you take the class.
Don't know why it would be in your system....the drug, that is......unless your , well.......
