Greetings from Akron
Hey guys,
Been thinking A lot about lately about getting my CCW, and want to research as much as I can before making a decision to carry. Looking forward to reading more and learning.

Re: Greetings from Akron
Welp,
I took the 40 out for a stroll the other day. Got home from work late, and needed to take my daughter for a walk, and decided I would bring back blizzards for the wife and I. Well the Dairy queen is not in the best area so I figured why not be prepared.
I used my blackhawk (I know, i know not the best, but still deciding on an IWB) and a big polo. Everything went smooth and will be doing it more often. I don't think a single person even noticed, and if they did they did not care.
Things I learned:
I think I will be able to conceal my 40 pretty good. (Better than I thought) once I get a real holster and belt we will know for sure.
Holy crap are you aware, when carrying. I felt like a 6th sense kicked in.
Thank you for all the help getting me here.

Most people feel that way at first but it subsides after awhilenorthhillguy wrote:Welp,

I just commented in a discussion in our concealed carry forum in regards to someone else posting about that very issue when you are new to carrying.
Here's the discussion if you want to join in........http://ohioccwforums.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=87816" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
