New from Summit
Hey everyone. My name is Jon. I am originally from North Canton, but I live in Summit county now. As you can tell by my not very creative name, I do HVAC. My CCW permit will be coming in the mail this week. I went through Portage County and must admit the staff at the Sheriff station was absolutely great!
As of right now I just own a XD40, but have become very interested in firearms as of lately and I plan on expanded my collection in the future. I love my XD but I would have to say it will be a bit bulky for carrying, so I will definitely be looking for something a bit smaller in the near future.
Nice to meet everyone, and I will try to be involved as much as possible.

Re: New from Summit
Welcome, from another fellow newbie, and a fellow XD(m)er, too.
Yep, even the Compact/Sub-Compact models are a bit bulky. A good belt and holster will help a lot - I EDC my XDm9 3.8 Compact: I'm T-shirt and jeans, 99% of the time. But that's as dependent on your body-type as anything else.... For those times when I can't make the bulge go away, I pocket-carry (in an appropriate holster, of-course!) a Kahr PM9.
