Rob in columbus

Post by sol740 »

Hello OFCC,

Recently finished my Utah permit, and looking to do the Ohio course soon. I look forward to trying to learn as much as I can from this forum's membership, and maybe even get to know some cool folks. I've been around firearms for as long as I can remember, although my actual range time is fairly limited (maybe 2 or 3 times a year). I currently carry a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry LE in a hybrid, first owned 1911(though it has pretty remained my favorite design since I was young), coming from a more Glock-oriented background.

I also enjoy tinkering with cars, computers, cameras, and probably spend too much time playing video games. Lastly, and most importantly, I have a family, and try to keep us all fed at least on a semi-daily basis.

Thanks,

Rob

Good to have you here Rob. Most of us are gun cranks and while we hash out & slice 'n dice the laws and how to work with them, we also like to ramble about guns & shooting, too. Hope you find it comfy around here.
I like to swap brass... and I'm looking for .32 H&R Mag, .327 Fed Mag, .380 Auto and 10mm. If you have some and would like to swap for something else, send me a note!

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. I will do my best to be a productive member. Why today I even printed out a CPZ letter and gave it to my bank. Which was an unnecessarily negative experience, which I may have to post about.

Welcome to the forum, Rob. I'm new here too and really enjoy it.

Please do post about the bank. Although I live an hour or so south of Columbus, I work here every day and frequent a couple of banks in the area quite often.
