New guy here from Akron

Post by 4pocalypse »

Just applied for my CCL at Summit County on 3/9. I am an avid shooter of pistols and rifles and certified gear nerd. I love to buy/sell/trade all kinds of gear and I have owned pistols from Ruger, HK, Sig, Glock, S&W, Springfield, 1911's and others I can't remember. My OD glock 23 will be my primary carry gun but I may pick up a PM9 too. I have been an active member of other forums including AR15.com and M4carbine.net for many years and I recently found this forum and I hope to be an active member here too.

Welcome!!
Turn around time for a Summit Co. CHL is typically 2-3 weeks.

Cool! Do any handgun cartridges off the beaten path? I do 10mm, .327 Federal Mag and .30 Carbine.

How about handloading... do any of that?

Welcome!
I like to swap brass... and I'm looking for .32 H&R Mag, .327 Fed Mag, .380 Auto and 10mm. If you have some and would like to swap for something else, send me a note!

No handloading, although I plan on getting into that at some point. I also tend to stick to the major calibers but the .327 federal does intrigue me.

It's fun, but handloading components for it are very difficult to find right now. Factory ammo is very much hit & miss. I see it sometimes, but I don't buy factory ammo so I don't have a really good handle on it.
