A 300 cube? Those were good engines.

What year, carb or injected, 2wd or 4wd? And do you want a good runner or a rebuildable core?

Do you want carbed, or fuel injected? Do you need a 4x4 or 2wd oil pan?

An organization I belong to has a Jasper rebuilt 300 Ford that powers an Onan 30 KW-3 phase standby generator; probably has 100-150 hours since rebuild. It has propane carburation on it now but the intake manifold is standard for regular gasoline carb. Our amateur radio club replaced this engine about 10 years ago and only used it for one weekend a year (24 hours) for 4 or 5 years. It has not been run in the last 5 years (mice got into the control panels after we relocated our EOC to the new Red Cross building). $1000 takes all, including the genset.PM if you're interested. I can probably find the receipts for the engine install in the club records and we can check the hour meter.

Ah ha, for some reason I thought you were looking for an engine. Good luck with the search, they are good vehicles as long as it hasn't rusted and a great engine. I used a 1980, Ford F250 with straight six and 4 speed manual to tow a 7000 lb trailer (drill rig and auger, etc) and it worked just fine.

I thought he wanted an engine too!
Never mind.

I had an f250 with the 300 and a offy 4bbl intake and holley carb with the 3-speed + overdrive manual trans, it would pull a house down.
Good luck with search.
