2006 Dark Red 250
I'm the original owner. The bike has 1475 miles, though this may increase slightly as I still ride to work occasionally. Always garaged. Lower fairing has small scratch (you can see in the first pic, full disclosure here) but the plastics have NO cracks. Exhausts are not scratched. Gets approx 55-65 MPG.
Modifications:
- ZX600 rear shock
- Added DRL/brake lights to the empty side pods
- Competition Werkes fender eliminator
- Removed some decals
- Rear pegs removed
- Rear Stand removed
I still have the side stand, original shock, and full fender insert (NOT cut down). Also included is a garage rear-stand.
Title is completely clear. Asking $2750. Will not ship. I'm selling the bike to have money for other financial needs.
No test-rides/joyrides without cash in my hand.
Thanks for looking.

Yep.
Some people get offended at a "no rides without cash" policy, but that's exactly the reason you do it this way. My insurance didn't cover other riders operating the bike, and if the buyer had wrecked it before paying me... well, then I'm just out a bike. A seller has NO way of knowing a buyer has any skill whatsoever, unless it's someone they know personally.
Fortunately, a lot of people feel the same way and won't balk when you sell your bike this way. The guys I sold mine to had no issue with it at all... they were satisfied enough to sit on it, and just start it up to hear the engine.
