DeWine won!!!

Post by WhyNot »

Wooohooo :o !

Ok enough of the shock effect to garner clicks LoL. One take away I would like to point out, trying to sound positive here. If this was a straight up contest for governor and all the respective parties votes went to that parties highest vote getter critter, DeWine would have beaten Cordray 827,041 to 679,738

Source site I consider fairly official LoL

I’ll have to hold my nose when I vote for him in November.

Didn't we have to vote Sherrod Brown in to get DeWiner out of the Senate seat?

Mary Taylor was preaching unity during her concession speech.

At least one commentator noted that there's a lot of Republican blood got spilled for this primary. Calls for us to put aside some differences, pull together and defeat Cordray in November - then keep our thumb on DeWine...........

Dewine was backing all od Kasucks gun control laws is what I've been hearing. This may bite us in the backside.
"Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home
Let me die in a pile of empty brass."
Amen

According to BFA he's changed. Even though he won't answer any gun group surveys. :?

Last night, I told my wife that it looked like we were voting for Cordray in November. Now I'm reading about how much Cordray has changed since he spoke to us in 2010.

Scary that DeWine is our good option.

I have not pulled a lever or pushed a button for DeWine since 2000. There are other options. Unfortunately, the better ones have no chance of winning.

I certainly hope he (DeWine) didn't answer any 2A questions for the same reason he didn't enter into a debate with Taylor. Because he didn't believe he had to, wouldn't change the primary outcome.

Because after that, the reasonings list becomes very, very small.

Did Cordray debate Kasichich? Nope. Same reason? Perhaps

According to the write up in last Sundays Cinci Enquirer, Cordray is pushing for universal background checks, ban on bump stocks, ban on high capacity magazines, and respecting the rights of gun owners (yeah, right).

Of course, DeWine may have the same position.

You left off that he also wants you to be 21 before you can buy anything.
