Re: Ohio Knife Laws ?
The knife was suppressed due to the unconstitutional search, but under the recent Utah v. Strieff decision if he'd had an outstanding bench warrant (even one he never rec'd notice of) then that search today would still be unconstitutional but the evidence (knife) wouldn't be thrown out.
There have been several very anti-4th Amendment decisions by this Court. This is just the latest in a string.

Nobody gets "notice" of a bench warrant. Bench warrants are issued because you ignored a matter of which you did get notice.DontTreadOnMe wrote:The knife was suppressed due to the unconstitutional search, but under the recent Utah v. Re: Ohio Knife Laws ?
In college a friend of mine got such a notification (actually his parents got it 'cause it went to his house). That wasn't in Ohio, but that's been my only personal experience with them.Werz wrote:Nobody gets "notice" of a bench warrant.
