I think if they're going to make it a felony for LEO's to enforce local gun laws that were illegally voted in..Then they should hold the city councils and mayors responsible as well, by making them felons..Cut off the head of these problems.
"Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home
Let me die in a pile of empty brass."
Amen

Bama you are giving me a terribly strong urge to go to The Snark Side with that suggestion. Something along the lines of '' But I thought that Cleveland's leadership was ALREADY composed with felons' etc. etc.''

However my friends on here from northeast Ohio have probably heard enough of that guff from yours truly.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

No snark needed - that's a true statement.

All 4 bills get their 1st hearing tomorrow (May 6th) starting at 2pm in room 121 at the statehouse.

I know only sponsor testimony is scheduled, but will someone from OFCC be present in case they open up the floor for proponent/opponent testimony?

It's on WLWT's website right now. Standby for the misinformed and uneducated ilk to paint lovely tapestries of falsehood throughout the comment section...

Wow..Those were some pretty good arguments on all bills, but especially HB 152

It's disappointing that the school zone restrictions aren't loosened a bit more, to allow leaving the gun in the car while on school property for ANY reason, but one step at a time, I guess.

Agreed. If I had to pick one that I think is taking too small of a baby step, it is HB20. But then again, what do I know?

The arguments for HB20 seemed very persuasive. I'm not surprised it's moving forward. I'd prefer it if it didn't have the "immediately" provision in (3)(b) but it's a good change.
