NH Reciprocity - What's the Hold Up?

Post by RichN »

It seems like New Hampshire has pretty loose reciprocity laws.
Is anything being worked on to get our license recognized by them?

New Hampshire's page hasn't been updated since last September. Not sure what our problem is.

Very curious that the Ohio AG announced NH and TX without signed agreements in hand. Now that it's been a few weeks I'm starting to wonder if someone jumped the gun so to speak.

Well,

I can't actually find a list of recoginized states on New Hampshire's website, but their site has now been updated to show that Ohio recognizes their license.

And this is in their statutes.

So, are we good to go, now?

PLEASE NOTE: The State of New Hampshire will only recognize resident concealed handgun licenses from the above listed states so long as the non-resident carries upon his person the actual license from the state in which he or she resides.

Yup, now that Ohio is in their list, we should be good to go.
