Class time requirements

Post by corrsk »

With the new law going into effect next month what are the new requirements. Is it 8 class + 2 range for a total of 10 hours or is it 6 class + 2 range for a total of 8 hours?

8 hours total with minimum 2 hours range. You can do 6 + 2, 5 + 3, 0 + 8, anything as long at total is 8 and at least 2 on the range.

I am not a lawyer. My answers are based on research, knowledge, and are generally backed up with facts, the Ohio Revised Code, or the United States Code.

That's what I thought but I wanted to be sure. I have a class scheduled after the change goes into effect. Just didn't want to get myself or someone else into trouble. It's been about 9 months since I taught a class.
