Applied today!

Post by meareweird »

Well the wait begins. I applied for my CHL today in Logan County. Sheriff says some people have had them returned in 7 days, my Father-in-Law received his in roughly two weeks.

 I'll blame it on bifocals and fat finger syndrome.

Forgot to mention in the original post, I am in the National Guard so I applied with my DD214. I called the sheriff's office to confirm if more was needed two different persons said that is all I should need. I had also read on here several people had successfully applied with only the DD214. Because my DD214 did not mention any firearm qualifications I decided to also include my certificate of completion of AIT, not sure if it was necessary but just trying to offer more than necessary.

Well, that wait WAS sort of short.

Including your AIT was not a bad idea.

Congrats !!

Ah, Logan county. As a youth, I spent my summers on my grandmother's farm in DeGraff (just north of town). All the 'trouble' my brother, cousins and I would get into...

If we had been inside Columbus city limits, I would STILL be in jail. 8)
