First time application, at Cuyahoga, took almost 60 days (May 5th application, Jul 5 issue date, Jul 7 in the mail). They also don't answer their phones or reply to emails, but in the end I am happy it got done.

I submitted My renewal request to the Lorain County Sheriff on June,15,2016 and They called Me on July,17,2016. One day after My old License expired.
Not too bad considering all the People applying and renewing Their License.
I must say the People were very pleasant and I was in and out in about fifteen minutes.

I applied for my license on March 23rd at Portage County and I was in and out in 15 mins. I took an envelope so that they could send it to me and to my surprise it wasn't needed. To anyone who can go to Portage, even if its a drive, I would highly recommend it.

I applied for my renewal in Cuyahoga on Aug. 3. Just came today Sept. 3 so it was exactly 30 days. Looking at some of the other posts in this thread I guess I should consider myself lucky. And I have to say the lady was very nice, no attitude at all. I'm good for five more years.

Seems like they were one of the counties recently who were pushing the 45 days allowed by Ohio law. When do you hit the 45 calendar day mark?

The end of the month.

I reapplied last minute (yes, I know. No need to rub it in). So I can't carry anymore.

They called today at 8:45 am said it was ready???? (11/15) I was in shock!

26 hour turn around on a renewal??

I don't expire until 1/10/17. Guess I'm ahead of the curve for once.

Just renewed in Trumbull county, The website gives good info and the process was quick. Stopped in to office about 11AM on Wed morning and got the call to pick up Monday at 8AM. Pickup up was simply walking into reception window an them giving t to you.
Awesome and easy .
Now to try renewing the PA license in Mercer. They went so far as send a letter saying I did not need to do so. But I tend to keep things once I get them!

I renewed yesterday in Warren County. Very easy and quick. I had set up the appointment online for 1pm. I was there a bit early, but the renewal was done so fast that I was walking out the door with my new CHL in hand even before 1pm had arrived.
