Re: Salt Fork Campground Bathrooms
I spend most weekends in the summer at Tappan lake where we have a seasonal lot. I've never given it a thought. The restrooms are posted as is the office. The top ranger here has said that he would not enforce the restroom posting. They ought to just remove it.

Re: Salt Fork Campground Bathrooms
I plan to. Still at the campground, but I do have an errand where I can print off the appropriate section. I plan to stop in at the ranger HQ. I figure the people in the camp store would not be helpful with this.

No, I had two college papers due the same day, and got distracted by that.
I just fired off an e-mail now, though. Thanks for the reminder, Brian!

Re: Salt Fork Campground Bathrooms
Just received a reply:
Bold is mine. Looks like someone "gets it." I wonder if this is the same guy that responded on Facebook, or if they have a canned response. It's word-for-word.Thank you for your inquiry regarding no guns permitted signage at Salt Fork State Park. In accordance with Ohio revised code section 2923.126 a building that is used primarily as a shelter, restroom, parking facility for motor vehicles, or rest facility you would be allowed to carry a firearm into the building if a Ohio Concealed Carry Permit Holder or openly carrying. We will be following up with local staff at Salt Fork to confirm the placement of the signage and make sure it was not done in error. Thank you for bringing us your concerns.
