Here is the "Facilities Agreement" between the city and the school athletic department.

I see issues with this one.

I wonder what the next 'lease' will look like.

They have a Fall Festival.

In their vendor regulations:
...
4. Objectionable items, such as weapons, firecrackers, explosives, knives, water balloons, drug paraphernalia, obscene and/or pornographic materials and illegal items may NOT be sold. No alcoholic beverages may be sold or consumed. Counterfeit items are NOT permitted at the festival. All items must be authentic. The City has the authority to reject applications that suggest the selling of these items and remove these items from the festival grounds.

Sounds like a challenge I should accept? :twisted:

Now that would be an interesting one. More so if an FFL applied. The only questionable part of 9.68 would be....

(D) This section does not apply to either of the following:

(1) A zoning ordinance that regulates or prohibits the commercial sale of firearms, firearm components, or ammunition for firearms in areas zoned for residential or agricultural uses;

Being a park, I don't know where zoning falls but I doubt it is zoned agricultural or residential. I would imagine there is a type of zoning called Park.

I am not a lawyer. My answers are based on research, knowledge, and are generally backed up with facts, the Ohio Revised Code, or the United States Code.

With the school to the left and the football field, which is listed as being owned by the school district, to the right, (almost) the entire park is within 1000' of a school premises, so if anyone wanted to go there for a test run/demonstration/educational walk, they would (using the current thinking that most seem to have on the FGFSZ law) have to have a valid Ohio CHL whether carrying concealed or not.
IANAL, YMMV, other standard disclaimers, yada, yada, yada, etc, ad nauseum, in infinitum.
