Hi guys I've searched and read a bunch of the fairground posts but some of the answers seem confusing to me so I was hoping if I asked some simple yes no questions I could get the simple answers I was wanting.
2 of the fairs we go to have the ticket booths as you drive in and I know one has a no gun sign at the entrance so does this mean you can't even drive in and store your gun in your vehicle?
If theres no signs and you carry in does this mean that you can not go in any building posted or not? since they are goverment buildings including the grandstands and restrooms?
Thanks for any answers I'm trying to learn as much as I can but seem to leave here more confused then when I got here lately

The Franklin County Fairgrounds has a CPZ sign posted on the main gate. But the odd thing is that they also hold the gun shows on the same exact fairgrounds.

Re: fairgrounds
The simple answer really is maybe. It depends on what entity is putting on the fair and how they are owned and funded. It also depends on who owns the land and how its funded.
Fairgrounds have always been a case by case basis in Ohio regarding firearms because of this.
It may help if you say which fairs in particular you are talking about.

Re: fairgrounds
I still say if they accept state money for 4-H and/or harness horse racing, that makes them a government entity by default, hence they can't claim private ownership so they can post the grounds.
